We’re not an agency. But we work with the same talent agencies hire. The difference? No bloat. No bureaucracy. No layers of people between you and great work.

Merge is a collective of top-tier creatives—copywriters, designers, photographers, animators, and videographers—who come together to build brands that actually mean something. No templated solutions. No watered-down ideas. Just bold, effective, strategically sharp work that cuts through the noise.

We’ve built campaigns for the giants. We’ve helped scrappy startups punch above their weight. And we do it all without the inflated agency fees. Because at the end of the day, great ideas don’t come from boardrooms. They come from people who give a damn.

Let’s skip the agency nonsense and make something that matters. Let’s Merge.

Where it all started.

Some people grew up on TV shows—I grew up on commercials. I studied them, ripped them apart, and figured out what made them work. That obsession turned into a career.

I launched Merge in 1998 after six years shaping the internet before most people even knew what it was. I was at the right place at the right time—on the front lines as the web took shape. I helped design some of the first portal websites for NBC, ABC, and CBS, merging TV, magazines, and digital content.

Back then, web design was the Wild West—cluttered, chaotic, and centered on outdated thinking. I saw a better way to organize it. I made a suggestion to a programmer, and an hour later, it was built. That structure is still the foundation of how websites are designed today.

But I knew where things were headed. Websites were just production. Branding was the future. So I went all in.

Since then, Merge has built brands that don’t just look good—they work. We’ve helped companies like St. Jude Medical (now Abbott), AtriCure, Boston Scientific, and Torax Medical (now part of Johnson & Johnson) grow and evolve. We’ve worked with Aveda, Sears, Best Buy, and the National Park Service to create branding that stands the test of time.

Not because it’s trendy. Because it works.
